The objectives of the "Burn-out awareness as part of a prevention approach" training course are to :

  • Understand burn-outand its consequences,
  • Identify signs and risk factors,
  • Discover individual and collective prevention levers.

Target audience:

The training course “Raising Awareness of Burnout as a Preventive Measure” is designed for all employees who wish to understand and prevent burnout in their workplace.

Prerequisites:

No prerequisites for enrollment in the program

Duration & Organization

Individual or group training (10 people max/group).

Training takes place over half a day. There are several ways to organize it.

The course

The "Brown-out awareness as part of a prevention approach" training course is divided into four modules:

Part

Module 1 - Understanding burn-out

  • Definition and difference from chronic stress,
  • Physical, psychological and behavioral symptoms,
  • Consequences for the individual and the organization.
Part

Module 2 - Identifying risk invoices

  • Organizational factors (workload, recognition, etc.),
  • Individual factors (over-commitment, perfectionist personality, etc.),
  • Recognizing warning signs: self-diagnosis and colleague observation.
Part

Module 3 - Prevention and collective action

  • Good individual practices (time management, work/life balance, etc.),
  • Managerial posture and the role of the team (culture of support and prevention),
  • Listening and support techniques (identifying, approaching and guiding a colleague).
Part

Module 4 - Setting up an action plan

  • Individual mini-action plan,
  • Group mini-action plan.

Target skills

The "Brown-out awareness as part of a prevention approach" training course aims to develop the following skills:

  • Competency n°1 - Recognizing and understanding the mechanisms of burn-out,
  • Competency n°2 - Identify risk factors and warning signals,
  • Competency no. 3 - Adopt a preventive and supportive stance in your professional environment.

Teaching resources, methods and supervision techniques

During the training course “Raising Awareness of Burnout as a Preventive Measure,”participants are guided by an expert trainer. The trainer uses the following techniques and tools, among others:

  • Theoretical input,
  • Case studies or video testimonials (1),
  • Participative workshops in groups or sub-groups (2),
  • Brainstorming and setting up a collective mini-action plan (4)

Course Requirements

There are several possible ways of organizing the event:

MEANS OF ORGANIZING FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING

You have a choice of training courses:

  • On the premises of ORIENTACTION in Le Mans,
  • On-site: the trainer trains at your company (travel costs
    and accommodation calculated in the quote).

WAYS OF ORGANIZING DISTANCE LEARNING

  • Training will be carried out via synchronous distance learning using the ZOOM tool,
  • Links to ZOOM will be provided by the training center.

REMOTE PEDAGOGICAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE

Support and assistance are provided by the same trainer as the one delivering the training. This support and assistance is provided by email or, in an emergency, by telephone.

The trainer's contact details are provided at the start of the course.

The trainer must reply within 48 hours. If the trainer cannot be reached after this deadline, please contact the person in charge of training, whose contact details are given in the welcome booklet.

Means for monitoring action implementation and results

At the end of the training course, the trainee fills in an attendance sheet and a satisfaction questionnaire, enabling him/her to assess the training's contribution.

People with disabilities

Training is open to all, and all types of disability will be taken into account, within the limits of the skills, human and material resources available for the training provided.

If ORIENTACTION does not have the material, technical and human resources to meet the needs of the disabled participant, the latter will be referred either to the ORIENTACTION group's disability advisor or to a partner organization of the ORIENTACTION group.

Access procedures and deadlines

All training requests are accompanied by a quote specifying the total cost (including tax) of the training, as well as the dates of the sessions. The quote is sent electronically via email. Once the quote has been accepted and the training agreement signed, the training may begin.
