Objectives
The objectives of the "Prévention des risques psychosociaux (RPS) pour managers" training course are to :
- Understand the issues involved in taking psychosocial risks into account,
- Managing psychosocial risks within the team.

The "Prevention of Psychosocial Risks (PSR) for Managers" training course is designed for managers at all levels within the company.
Prerequisites:
No prerequisites for enrollment in the program
Duration & Organization
Individual or group training (max. 8 people/group).
Training takes place over 2 consecutive or non-consecutive days. Several organizational options are available.
The course
The "Prévention des risques psychosociaux (RPS) pour managers" training course is structured
into five main modules:
Module 1: Introducing and raising awareness of RPS
- Presentation of RPS: definition, issues and consequences (on employees and the company),
- Introduction to legal obligations and managers' responsibilities in terms of RPS,
- Raising awareness of RPS.
Module 2: Identifying PSR factors
- Analysis of organizational factors (workload, lack of recognition, change management),
- Identifying early warning signs of stress, burnout, harassment, or other forms of workplace distress.
Module 3: Preventing RPS and improving quality of life at work (QWL)
- Implementation of good management practices: workload management, promotion of work/life balance,
- Techniques for managing stress and conflict within teams,
- Strategies to strengthen well-being at work, team cohesion and mutual support.
Module 4: Dealing with crisis or malaise situations
- Active listening and support techniques for employees in difficulty (face-to-face and/or distance learning),
- How to deal with an employee in distress: individual interviews, referral to internal (HR, occupational medicine) or external resources.
Module 5: Setting up an action plan
- Individual action plan,
- Collective action plan.
Target skills
The "Prevention of psychosocial risks (RPS) for managers" training course aims to develop the following skills:
- Competency n°1 - Detection and identification of psychosocial risks (PSR) : ability to spot signs of malaise and identify risk factors within the team (stress, overload, conflicts, etc.),
- Competency no. 2 - Prevention of psychosocial risks: know how to implement concrete actions to prevent psychosocial risks and improve the quality of life at work,
- Competency no. 3 - Handling difficult situations: develop skills in conflict management and support for employees in difficulty,
- Competency no. 4 - Communication and active listening: master active listening and benevolent communication to manage teams with empathy and maintain a healthy work environment.
Teaching resources and supervision methods
During the "Prevention of Psychosocial Risks (PSR) for Managers" training course, participants are guided by an expert trainer. The trainer uses the following techniques and tools, among others:
- Theoretical input,
- Case studies,
- Role-playing,
- Participative workshops in groups or sub-groups,
- Setting up a collective action plan.
TRAINING DELIVERY TERMS
MEANS OF ORGANIZING FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING
You have a choice of training courses:
- On the premises of ORIENTACTION in Le Mans,
- On-site: the trainer trains at your company (travel costs
and accommodation calculated in the quote).
WAYS OF ORGANIZING DISTANCE LEARNING
- Training will be carried out via synchronous distance learning using the ZOOM tool,
- Links to ZOOM will be provided by the training center.
REMOTE PEDAGOGICAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE
Support and assistance are provided by the same trainer who conducts the training. This support and assistance are provided via email or, in case of an emergency, by phone. The trainer’s contact information is provided to the participant at the start of the training. The trainer must respond within 48 hours. If the trainer cannot be reached after this time has elapsed, the participant may contact the academic director, whose contact information is provided in the welcome booklet.
Means for monitoring action implementation and results
At the end of the training course, the trainee fills in an attendance sheet and a satisfaction questionnaire, enabling him/her to assess the training's contribution.
People with disabilities
The training is open to the general public, and all types of disabilities will be accommodated within the limits of the skills, human resources, and equipment available as part of the training program. If ORIENTACTION does not have the material, technical, and human resources to meet the needs of a participant with a disability, that participant will be referred either to the ORIENTACTION group’s disability liaison or to a partner organization within the ORIENTACTION network.
Access procedures and deadlines
All training requests are accompanied by a quote specifying the total cost (including tax) of the training, as well as the dates of the sessions. The quote is sent electronically via email. Once the quote has been accepted and the training agreement signed, the training may begin.
