Target audience & prerequisites

The "Free your mind: strategies for lightening your mental load" training course is aimed at all employees in the company.

A good understanding of the French language is required to use the training materials.

Duration & Organization

Individual or group training (max. 8 people/group).

Training takes place over two consecutive or non-consecutive days.

There are a number of possible ways of organizing the course, including the possibility of dividing it into four non-consecutive half-days for practical application between each module.

The course "Free your mind: strategies for lightening your mental load is structured into 5 main modules:

  • Defining mental workload and its implications for daily life,
  • Identify common drivers such as "Be perfect" or "Be strong",
  • Understand how the mind works and learn how to avoid its traps.

Module 2 - Managing stress and regulating emotions

  • Understand the causes of stress and anxiety,
  • Learn practical techniques for managing everyday stress,
  • Explore emotional regulation to promote mental well-being.

Module 3 - Implementing concrete strategies

  • Develop time and priority management skills,
  • Learn to communicate your needs and limits effectively,
  • Explore practical strategies for simplifying everyday tasks.

Module 4 - Using the art of letting go and developing new habits

  • Understand the importance of letting go in reducing mental workload,
  • Explore methods for developing new, adapted habits,
  • Building resilience to cope better with stress,
  • Assessment and action plan.

Module 5 - Setting up an action plan

  • Individual action plan,
  • Collective action plan

Target skills

The "Free your mind: strategies for lightening your mental load" training course aims to develop the following skills:

  • Competency no. 1 - Managing mental workload : identifying and understanding the sources of mental workload,
  • Competency no. 2 - Managing stress and emotions: use practical techniques to reduce stress, develop the ability to regulate emotions,
  • Competency no. 3 - Time and priority management: effectively plan and organize tasks and set strategic priorities to maximize productivity,
  • Competency no. 4 - Communication and letting go: using assertive communication to express needs and concerns.

Teaching resources, methods and supervision techniques

During the "Free your mind: strategies to lighten your mental load" training course, trainees are accompanied by an expert trainer. The trainer uses the following techniques and tools in particular:

  • Individual tests,
  • Theoretical input,
  • Role-playing,
  • Work in sub-groups,
  • Setting up a personalized action plan,
  • Setting up a collective action plan.

Conditions for distance learning

There are several possible ways of organizing the event:

MEANS OF ORGANIZING FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING

You have a choice of training courses:

  • On the premises of ORIENTACTION in Le Mans,
  • On-site: the trainer trains at your company (travel costs
    and accommodation calculated in the quote).

WAYS OF ORGANIZING DISTANCE LEARNING

  • Training will be carried out via synchronous distance learning using the ZOOM tool,
  • Links to ZOOM will be provided by the training center.

REMOTE PEDAGOGICAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE

Support and assistance are provided by the same trainer as the one delivering the training. This support and assistance is provided by email or, in an emergency, by telephone.

The trainer's contact details are provided at the start of the course.

The trainer must reply within 48 hours. If the trainer cannot be reached after this deadline, please contact the person in charge of training, whose contact details are given in the welcome booklet.

Means for monitoring action implementation and results

At the end of the training course, the trainee fills in an attendance sheet and a satisfaction questionnaire, enabling him/her to assess the training's contribution.

People with disabilities

Training is open to all, and all types of disability will be taken into account, within the limits of the skills, human and material resources available for the training provided.

If ORIENTACTION does not have the material, technical and human resources to meet the needs of the disabled participant, the latter will be referred either to the ORIENTACTION group's disability advisor or to a partner organization of the ORIENTACTION group.

Access procedures and deadlines

All requests for services must be accompanied by a quotation specifying the amount (including VAT) of the service and the dates on which it will be carried out. The estimate is sent in electronic format.
