Successful coaching requires the use of various techniques, each of which is based on theoretical references and situation analysis tools. The course will therefore cover the following techniques and tools:

  • The origins and evolution of accompaniment and coaching.
  • The 8 stages and 4 characteristics of a person's commitment.

  • Transactional analysis drivers and stimuli.

  • Projection and the Pygmalion effect.
  • Inspiring stories.
  • Rituals.

Each technique is approached from two angles: theoretical and operational. Through numerous practical exercises, practice is put to the test, reinforcing the ability to support.

Target skills

The "Applied Coaching Techniques - Module 1: The fundamentals of
support and coaching"
training program therefore aims to acquire two main skills:

  • Adopt a coach's posture: the coach's posture is a particular one, which encourages and supports the empowerment of the coachee in achieving his/her objectives, without influencing him/her from his/her own representations and functioning, and his/her own relationship to reality.

  • Using different support techniques: adapting to each person, each situation and each moment in their development requires the use of a variety of techniques to help them succeed in their chosen path.

Means for monitoring action implementation and results

At the end of the course, trainees are asked to sign an attendance sheet and complete two online questionnaires:

  • A satisfaction questionnaire to assess the quality of the training.
