2009
The origins: a visionary intuition
The story of ORIENTACTION began in 2009, in Le Mans, with two founders:
- Emeric Lebreton Ph.D. in psychology and teacher-researcher at universities and business schools (Audencia, ENPC),
- And Jacques Brémond, independent trainer and former retail manager.
Both share the conviction that guidance and retraining can and must be profoundly renewed. They have developed a person-centered approach, based on psychology, positive projection into the future, and the liberation of human potential, which can affect individuals at all stages of life (young people, adults and seniors).
ORIENTACTION was selected as one of the European Union's 100 most innovative projects in the social innovation category.
2010 - 2014
Initial structuring: laying the foundations
Between 2010 and 2014, ORIENTACTION developed its first offers around the skills assessment professional career coachingretirement preparation andeducational guidance. Our approach is distinguished by :

2015 - 2019
Change of scale with the licensing network
In 2015, the group adopted a brand licensing model, enabling independent professionals (psychologists, consultants, coaches) to open their own practice while benefiting from the support, tools, reputation and ORIENTACTION® method.
The momentum is strong:
- In 2016: 50 cabinets,
- In 2018: 150 locations,
- In 2019: more than 250 locations,
- Strong growth in consolidated sales.
At the same time, the Group is developing its strategic divisions:
- Quality,
- Legal,
- IT development,
- Training and integration of consultants.
2020 - 2021
The crisis as a gas pedal
The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the global economy, but acted as a catalyst for transformation for ORIENTACTION. In just a few weeks, the group was able to switch entirely to remote operations, thanks to its digital tools and the mobilization of its teams.
Results :
- Maintaining activities despite confinement,
- Expanding to new audiences,
- Opening up new markets (Overseas, rural areas, expatriates),
- More than 10,000 beneficiaries supported by 2020,
- Twenty million euros in sales.
The group is strengthening its team, professionalizing its processes, and anticipating the future by investing in technology and research.
2022 - 2023
Diversification and consolidation
The year 2022 will be marked by the achievement of Qualiopi certification, which is essential for the financing of accompaniment via the Personal Training Account (CPF). This certification testifies to the Group's commitment to quality.
In 2023, ORIENTACTION takes a new step forward with theintegration of the ORIENTACTION EMPLOI brand, a project led by Branko Rajcevic. This entity's mission is to facilitate access to sustainable employment through recruitment, job placement, training and integration coaching.
The same year, a socio-economic impact study carried out by ASTERÈS, an economic think tank headed by Nicolas Bouzou, highlighted the impact of the skills assessment on employment, professional mobility and the psychological health of working people undergoing retraining. The study concludes that the services offered significantly improve commitment, project clarity and the success of career paths, and in particular the social costs associated with demotivation, unemployment or poorly supported retraining.
The E-ORIENTACTION digital platform was created to provide personalized, structured and confidential follow-up, facilitating exchanges between consultants and beneficiaries. It quickly became the technological foundation of the support offered.
Word-of-mouth and the satisfaction of the first beneficiaries led to rapid growth.
In-house-designed psychometric tools - including values, needs, soft skills and personality preference tests, as well as the Einstein® Test - are becoming a trademark.
The PUBLISHING division: disseminating knowledge
Alongside its coaching activities, ORIENTACTION is developing a publishing division, headed by Emeric Lebreton himself. The aim of this division is to distribute practical and inspiring books on psychology, career transition and personal and professional development. Some of these books are used as teaching tools in coaching programs. Others serve as inspirational levers for people in search of meaning or change.
A resolutely social vision, without mission-driven status
Although the Group is not officially a company with a mission, its concrete commitments bring it closer to one :
access to assessments for people in difficulty,
skills sponsorship for young people,
accompaniment at solidarity rates,
local involvement in community projects.
The Group has a strong conviction: changing one's working life should be possible for everyone, whatever their age, situation or level of education.
2024 - 2025
Towards internationalization and technological development
Today, ORIENTACTION has more than 900 consultants and over 550 locations throughout France, and is pursuing three main lines of development:
- Technological, with AI-assisted career prediction tools,
- Editorial, with increasing distribution of books, tests and psychological games,
- Territorial, with pilot sites in Belgium, Switzerland and French-speaking Africa.
Sales now exceed 15 million euros, with a clear target of 100 million euros by 2030, and a position as a European benchmark in human change management.
