Interest and added value of the test

The test presented here offers an overview of the ten root values based on the Schwartz model. It is accessible and quick to complete (approx. 10 minutes).

  • It enables the candidate and the assessor to become familiar with the guiding values that motivate the candidate.
  • In particular, the three values that take precedence over the other seven are described, which may help to arouse the candidate's interest in his or her self-knowledge, and to grasp the value of taking the test.
  • The test enables the candidate to deepen his or her knowledge of the values that guide him or her on a daily basis. From then on, he/she will be able to find out about the actions to be taken, and even the professional environments or living environments to be favored according to his/her profile.

The assessor has the opportunity to define the necessary values required for a given position or professional environment. The purpose of this test is to understand the candidate's motivations, to help him/her choose the position or professional environment in which he/she will be fulfilled and motivated. This test can also be very useful in management (promotion, communication, conflict management...).

As part of a recruitment process, the assessor is able to make an effective comparison between his or her expected profile and the profiles available to him or her. He/she can also compare candidates with each other to select the one most suited to what he/she is looking for in the recruitment phase.

Once you've recruited your candidate, you can nurture the recruit's expectations according to the cardinal values that emerged from the test. In particular, he/she can send him/her assignments which may stimulate him/her further, and enable him/her to cultivate his/her autonomy to the right extent, if autonomy is a guiding value for the employee. In short, this test enables us to ask ourselves how we can correlate the objectives of the company and those of the individual. As a result, the employee's job satisfaction and performance can be improved.
