Preparing to enter professional life (Master 1, 2 and PhD students)
Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to choose the jobs most likely to fulfill their potential in this first stage of their professional life.

Duration & Organization
The course lasts 8 hours 30 minutes, divided as follows:
- 1 hour 30 minutes interview to analyze personal, family, school, student and professional life;
- 2 hours of independent taking of specialized tests ORIENTACTION and Central Test, chosen by the consultant according to the student's profile and needs;
- 1 hour 30 minutes of shared analysis of test reports and development of project ideas;
- 2 hours of independent exploration of project ideas;
- 1 hour 30 minutes project validation interview (plan A and plan B) and co-writing of summary.
The course
The 5 stages of training are tailored to the needs and availability of the student.
Interviews with the expert consultant can take place face-to-face or remotely, via videoconferencing.
The consultant remains available between interviews to guide the student in his or her reflections and approaches, by e-mail, telephone and/or videoconference.

Secondly, it will enable him to :

List the major life and career scenarios that correspond to it.

Explore all professional possibilities
(career in France or abroad, in SMEs, large corporations or government agencies, as an employee, self-employed or civil servant, etc.). -
Identify concrete actions to be taken
Find out more about your project, find out how to implement it, and track down information and opportunities.
Finally, the training ends with the co-writing of a summary, which is then used as a basis for implementing the defined project.
Teaching resources, methods and supervision techniques
The teaching methods used in the course are based on :
- 6 Ebooks to structure the entire student support process according to the student's needs and progress in the process (the Ebooks contain texts, self-assessment questionnaires, tests and exercises);
- Online tests via our partner Central Test.
The consultant uses the Ebooks and tests in a way that is adapted to the student's situation.
People with disabilities
Training is open to all, and all disabilities will be taken into account within the limits of the skills, human and material resources available for the course. If ORIENTACTION does not have the material, technical and human resources to meet the needs of a student with a disability, the latter will be referred either to the ORIENTACTION group's disability advisor, or to a partner organization in the ORIENTACTION network.
Certification
This training does not lead to certification.

This program is aimed at universities and Grandes Ecoles under the following price conditions:
