Expert training for independent consultants joining our network
Architecte Accompagnateur de Parcours - Accompanying a person undergoing validation of prior learning
Objectives
Upon completion of the training, as a Career Path Coach on the France VAE platform https://vae.gouv.fr/, you will be able to assist an employee or job seeker through the Validation of Acquired Experience process, drawing on the three core competencies of a VAE consultant.
This platform serves as a one-stop portal for candidates, certifying bodies, and AAPs (Architectural Career Advisors), enabling centralized tracking of candidates from the time of their registration through to their appearances before the jury, and streamlining the management of procedures related to the VAE:
- Automated reception of applications,
- Centralized management of admissibility,
- Tracking progress.
You must also be able to conduct an introductory meeting regarding support for the V.A.E. process and handle the various related administrative tasks (securing funding, training contracts or agreements, attendance sheets, completion certificates, etc.) while adhering to the QUALIOPI quality standards.
Target audience & prerequisites
Duration & Organization
The training program lasts 21 hours, consisting of a total of three consecutive days of training, either in-person or via synchronous online learning.
The course
A VAE (Validation of Acquired Knowledge and Experience) process consists of six main steps divided into three main phases. ORIENTACTION is registered on France VAE as a QUALIOPI VAE-certified Program Support Specialist and has a dedicated professional space to support candidates throughout their VAE journey.
The support steps on this portal are broken down as follows:
- Registration of the candidate on the France VAE platform,
- Meeting between the candidate and the Career Support Architect,
- Seeking funding,
- Preparation and drafting of the feasibility dossier and submission of the dossier to the certifier,
- Preparation and drafting of the validation file,
- Candidate interview with the certification panel.
The training program follows the 3 stages of a V.A.E :
PART 1: FEASIBILITY ASSESSMENT AND COLLABORATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF A PERSONALIZED PATHWAY IN THE France VAE INTERFACE
- Verification of the chosen certification: The goal is to determine whether the credential or diploma selected by the candidate aligns with their experience and to identify the certifying body (DAVA, university, AFPA, etc.).
- The consultant (Learning Path Architect) and the candidate will assess the educational feasibility of the project and evaluate the gap between the current situation and the desired outcome. Together, they will design a personalized learning path within the platform to help the candidate achieve the targeted certification or skill set(s).
- The "Architecte Accompagnateur de Parcours" assists the candidate in his or her search for providers and sessions for complementary training activities, by means of a clear and operational roadmap. The feasibility file is drawn up on the basis of the document provided for each certification, specifying the pedagogical feasibility opinion and additional documents (supporting documents, identity papers, etc.).
- The feasibility file is sent to the certifier for notification of admissibility via the France VAE platform and the Architecte Accompagnateur de Parcours.
PART 2: PRPREPARATION FOR CERTIFICATION AND COMPILATION OF BOOKLET 2
- Selection of activities to remember,
- Creation of a detailed plan,
- Description of skills derived from personal and professional experience,
- Assistance with preparing the V.A.E. application: asking questions, rephrasing, clarifying, providing evidence, etc.
- Proofreading and correction of content and form.
PART 3: PRPREPARING FOR THE ORAL DEFENSE
Support for candidates applying for the Validation of Prior Learning process culminates in preparation for a work simulation and/or practice for the oral interview with the panel. Depending on the certification sought, this support may take various forms:
- Individual interviews,
- Writing workshops,
- Remote tutoring,
- Methodology workshops.
Target skills
The "Architecte Accompagnateur de Parcours : Accompagner un(e) bénéficiaire d'une V.A.E" training program aims to acquire and validate the following three skills:
- Verify that the credential selected by the candidate aligns with their experience and career goals: this assessment phase is the most critical part of the V.A.E. process. Indeed, it determines the candidate’s future success and their ability to demonstrate, through their professional and extracurricular experience, that they possess the competencies outlined in the credential’s standards. The consultant (Career Path Architect) must be familiar with the qualifications (National Education, CQP, etc.), their standards, and the certifying bodies involved in the “downstream” phase of the V.A.E. The France VAE platform allows users to view the standards for the qualifications targeted by the candidate.
- Documenting one’s skills and providing evidence of proficiency in the form of a written portfolio: support for the V.A.E. process is primarily about organizing and highlighting the skills acquired and practiced by a professional in accordance with the certification standards. The consultant must be able to assist the candidate in drafting and structuring their application by following a predetermined outline on the France VAE platform.
- Support the candidate in presenting their application during the oral exam before a panel: every V.A.E. process concludes with an oral presentation. The consultant must be able to assist the candidate in preparing for this presentation. Clarity of expression, structured argumentation, self-confidence, and poise are all qualities that the consultant must be able to stimulate, encourage, and reinforce in the candidate so that he or she can succeed in this final stage.
Teaching resources, methods and supervision techniques
The teaching methods used in the training program are based on six e-books, which are made available to candidates as supporting resources throughout the VAE process.
The candidate’s entire personalized learning path will be tracked on the France VAE platform.
