Objectives
The objectives of the "Anticipate your retirement: plan ahead and act serenely" training course are to :
- Understand the personal, social and identity issues associated with the transition to retirement,
- Explore the key dimensions of a successful transition (health, relationships, projects, pace of life),
- Take a step back and identify your aspirations,
- Build a concrete, personalized retirement plan,
- Get people moving with an individual action plan.
Target audience & prerequisites
The "Anticipating retirement: plan ahead and act calmly" training course is aimed at all salaried or self-employed people planning to retire within the next 5 years.
A good understanding of the French language is a prerequisite for this course.
Duration & Organization
Individual or group training (max. 8 people/group).
The training takes place over a total of 14 hours, i.e. two continuous or non-continuous days, or 7 individual 2-hour sessions. Several organizational options are available.
The course
The "Anticipating your retirement: plan ahead and act calmly" training course is structured into five modules:
Module 1 - Understanding and stepping back
- Trainee objectives and expectations,
- Representations of retirement: obstacles and opportunities,
- Major changes to anticipate (pace, relationships, identity).
Module 2 - Tips for understanding, planning and finding reliable financial information
- Provide a clear vision of the financial implications of retirement,
- Simulation tools to help you plan ahead with peace of mind,
- Clarify the points to watch out for (timing, income, taxation).
Module 3 - Identifying your resources and aspirations
- Personal assessment and core values,
- Life balance: what I want to preserve, develop and transform,
- Reflection on "My dream projects for tomorrow".
Module 4 - Building your retirement plan
- Structure your days and new lifestyle habits (health, sleep, nutrition, activities, etc.),
- Define your retirement priorities (volunteering, travel, creative projects, family, etc.),
- Identify the levers of well-being and vitality.
Module 5 - Setting up an action plan
- Shaping your retirement project,
- Development of an individual action plan with milestones and deadlines,
- Conclusion and summary.
Target skills
The "Anticipating retirement: plan ahead and act calmly" training course aims to develop the following skills:
- Competency no. 1 - Assess the impact of retirement on personal, social and identity balance,
- Skill #2 - Identify your needs, desires and priorities for retirement,
- Competency no. 3 - Draw up a retirement plan in line with your resources and aspirations,
- Competency no. 4 - Implement levers for well-being, commitment and social ties after working life.
Teaching resources, methods and supervision techniques
During the "Anticipating retirement: plan ahead and act calmly" training course, trainees are accompanied by an expert trainer. The trainer uses the following techniques and tools:
- Theoretical input,
- ORIENTACTION self-knowledge tests (personality, values, needs, etc.),
- Case studies and/or video testimonials,
- Practical exercises and/or participative workshops in groups or sub-groups as part of a collective training program,
- Development of an individual action plan.
Conditions for distance learning
There are several possible ways of organizing the event:
MEANS OF ORGANIZING FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING
You have a choice of training courses:
- On the premises of ORIENTACTION in Le Mans,
- On-site: the trainer trains at your company (travel costs
and accommodation calculated in the quote).
WAYS OF ORGANIZING DISTANCE LEARNING
- Training will be carried out via synchronous distance learning using the ZOOM tool,
- Links to ZOOM will be provided by the training center.
REMOTE PEDAGOGICAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE
Support and assistance are provided by the same trainer as the one delivering the training. This support and assistance is provided by email or, in an emergency, by telephone.
The trainer's contact details are provided at the start of the course.
The trainer must reply within 48 hours. If the trainer cannot be reached after this deadline, please contact the person in charge of training, whose contact details are given in the welcome booklet.
Means for monitoring action implementation and results
At the end of the training course, the trainee fills in an attendance sheet and a satisfaction questionnaire, enabling him/her to assess the training's contribution.
People with disabilities
Training is open to all, and all types of disability will be taken into account, within the limits of the skills, human and material resources available for the training provided.
If ORIENTACTION does not have the material, technical and human resources to meet the needs of the disabled participant, the latter will be referred either to the ORIENTACTION group's disability advisor or to a partner organization of the ORIENTACTION group.
Access procedures and deadlines
All requests for services must be accompanied by a quotation specifying the amount (including VAT) of the service and the dates on which it will be carried out. The estimate is sent in electronic format.
