STATE AND LOCAL CIVIL SERVANTS
SKILLS ASSESSMENT: NEW RIGHTS FOR CIVIL SERVANTS
State and local civil servants can now request a skills assessment. This enables them to receive support in drawing up their career transition or professional development plans. The requirement of 10 years' service, which was previously compulsory, has been abolished.
Employees may carry out a maximum of 2 assessments during their career, but must respect a minimum grace period of 5 years after the end of the last assessment.
